a leather wrap bracelet

my husband challenged me to make something new out of metal every day for the next year - day 100
I cannot believe this is day 100 only 265 more to go

I made a code of arms wrap bracelet for this tutorial

cut out your shield as the base and whatever you desire on it

I used 20 gauge sterling silver

Cutting out that bird was not easy by the way ,Its really tiny and detailed

solder both together

dome your shield in a dabbing block

of if you do not have one you can keep it flat

clean the back of the shield with sand paper

cut some short strips of flat wire

bend with a needle nose plier into a U shape

make sure it fits well

solder the u's to the back

clean in your Pickel solution

start polishing

add patina

poish only the bird so it stands out from the shield

feed a leather cord or any other cord through the u shapes

I use slip knots to make the bracelet adjustable
