► The ring was cut 5mm wide from thick 16 gauge sterling silver (1.2mm) to maintain a quality fuck off, while a pewter patina in the lettering creates the necessary contrast between the mirror finish and lettering to further embolden your message.
►The ring was handmade by shearing a flat bland of 16 gauge (1.2 mm) thick sterling silver in a 5mm width, stamping the fuck off, loosely working the flat band into a ring shape so that the ends align, soldering the seam with an acetylene torch, and finally hammering the ring into a perfectly round shape with a nylon mallet over a steel ring mandrel. To leave the seam nearly invisible, vigorous filing and polishing is required to remove any leftover solder, however unlike cast rings, a fine seam will be noticeable in certain lighting.
