This hammered sterling silver disc necklace was cut sawed from 18 gauge sterling silver and features a stunning cratered texture with an eye catching circular hand-sawed cut out window. The hammered texture was produced with three different sized ball hammers and the window sawed using a pierce and cut technique. By forming the sterling silver disc on a steel dabbing block, the resulting domed shape combines the hammered texture and infinite reflective angles to transform light into a display of shining highlights, while the final rustic brushed finish adds distortion to the luminosity.
