Measuring 5/16 inch wide by 2.1 inches long, this tie bar is wider than my standard sleek tie bars for added emphasis and bold styling. After cutting the flat strip of copper using a precise metal shear and stamping the monogram, the tie bar was formed bending the copper strip around a small cylindrical piece of steel. The sharp edges and end tabs were rounded and smoothed for a classy finished appearance. A near perfect mirror finish was produced by tumbling the copper tie bar in finely ground organic walnut shell for about 72 hours, however this tie bar is also available with a hammered or brushed finish.
