Skull design on sterling silver guitar pick for a bad ass guitarist
As one bad ass guitar pick pendant, this handmade sterling silver guitar pick features a skull that was sawed by hand with a jewelry saw and joined to the base 18 gauge sterling silver guitar pick using silver solder and an acetylene torch. The pierced and cut eyes and nose were darkened with a potassium based patina to create contrast, a three dimensional effect, and a shadowbox, when the surfaces were brushed to smooth satin finish.
This guitar pick is also ready for playing a bad ass guitar solo with all the screaming, screeching, and joys of power slides and has filed edges and polished surfaces for a crisp smooth glide. Measuring 1.3 inches long by 1.2 inches wide, the pick is my own unique design that is similar in size to larger plastic pick. An 18 inch stainless steel ball chain is included with this pendant, however you can also request the chain in any custom length.
To personalize your skull guitar pick with a name on the back or choose a different length chain, simply enter your requests in the check out notes.
The pick was finished with a silicon buffing wheel that reveals a vibrant silver glow and smooth surface, however it is also possible to tumble the pick in walnut shell to produce a stunning mirror finish. If you intend to use your pick for heavy playing, I would definitely suggest the satin finish. Custom orders orders and special requests are gladly accepted, so please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions or to discuss custom designs.
