Ring set in sterling silver

Combining the inspiration of Beethoven's famous quote, “forever mine, forever thine, forever ours” with stunning sterling silver wedding bands, this ring set joins two people in an eternal union of peace harmony, and the excitement of embarking on a long journey together whether it be through a formal wedding, eloping, or personal commitment to one another.

The rings were cut as flat metal strips from thick 16 gauge sterling silver (1.2 mm), stamped in a fancy script with forever mine forever thine on each respective ring, and shaped with a pliers until the ends perfectly align. Using silver solder and an acetylene torch, the seams were soldered together and the rings were hammered into perfect rings on a steel ring mandrel with a nylon mallet. By filing and polishing the soldered joints, the seams become almost invisible. A patina is then applied to the forever mine forever thine to darken the lettering before polishing the rings by hand and tumbling in fine walnut shell to a mirror finish.

As photographed, these rings are a size 6 and 7 with a 5mm width, but can be ordered in any custom size, by simply entering your requests in the check out notes. The inside of the bands can also be stamped or engraved with a date or name. Please let me know if you have any questions or special requests.
