Adorned with hand stamped roses, this handmade sterling silver rose ring with a brilliant mirror finish brings a little flower power to your finger. The ring measures 3/8 in wide and was cut by hand from 18 gauge sterling silver to give you some real substance without being overly bulky or large. After shearing the flat ring band to size and stamping the roses, the band was formed over a steel ring mandrel with a nylon mallet until the ends perfectly aligned to create a seam that is joined together using sterling silver solder and an acetylene torch. Any rough edges along the seam are filed smooth and a black patina was brushed into the stamped roses for contrast against the vibrant silver glow of the hand polished sterling silver. The ring is then tumbled in finely crushed walnut shells to remove any fingerprints and fine scratches in the metal.
